Muscle Activation of San Francisco offers evidence-based Pilates grounded in Diane Lee, PT’s research and Scolio Pilates by Karena Thek, as well as classical Pilates instruction, for healthy individuals and athletes alike. Our small, dedicated staff is second-to-none.

Our foundation starts with key breathing techniques to access structural and postural change via the diaphragm, an important element in correct intra-abdominal pressure to support us against gravity and correct pelvic floor issues. Monitoring correct alignment, proper biomechanics and muscle activation patterns, we discover what language works for YOUR personalized cueing to help you take charge of your body in new ways, allowing you to move gracefully and free of discomfort.

What sets us apart is our full understanding of the body as a system and how to effectively make changes through proven methods of neuroplastic principles in order to build stronger, more connected brain map. Your success comes from your ability to contract and fire the deepest muscle systems with correct timing by aligning the structure of your body first, and we help you every step of the way.

The frequency of visits will vary based on your individual needs and goals.

INVESTMENT:

The range of $100-125 per hour is an average relative to experience and specialities. Package discounts may be available. Discuss with your Pilates instructor.
